So, I decided to install the drivers from D-Link website (). Windows automatically installed the drivers and I was able connect to Internet.However, I immediately faced intermittent connection too. The Windows 10 圆4 drivers don't work well (the ones from Microsoft Update, Realtek's drivers, or the Windows 10 Startech ones ). Now, has drivers for this particular card but it's got them nested in several folders that seem redundant. I suspect this issue is common to all Realtek 8812AE PCI-e cards, regardless of manufacturer.

I knew this was a driver issue since I had previously gotten this card to work on the 5 GHz band before having to do a computer wipe. Actual behavior: Gave an error "Cannot connect to this network." Additionally, the connection was intermittent. Expected behavior: Connecting to 5 GHz band gives "Connected, Secured".
The default drivers that Windows installed didn't allow me to connect to the 5 GHz band, but it allowed connection to the 2 GHz WiFi network. I'm listing here on Reddit since there isn't much out there on this particular card and this took me forever to figure out.
